KLM B747-400F Cockpit - Landing Dubai World Centre, Al Maktoum Intl DWC ...

Here is this week video which I enjoy for a few reasons:



1. It is night time & many years ago I flew on a charter in a Piaggio as a voluntary First Officer between Sydney (YSSY) & Essendon (YMEN) in Melbourne.We left at 10pm & didn`t get back into Sydney until 2am, so this Video brings back many memories.



2. It reminds me to set my Aerowinx training software to night time occassionally & challenge my piloting skills by throwing in rain & turbulence.



3. It is an over the shoulder Point of View done form the First Officer right hand seat pespective which isn`t done very often.How often do you set Aerowinx to the First Officers View?



What i have found challenging this week is activlely listening to the air trffic calls when they are provided in on eof the .situ files. As a trainer this is an excellent way of observing how crews could relax & "miss' a call from air traffic control either on HF (High Frequency) or VHF (Very High Frequency) radio bands.
