Aerowinx PS1 PS13 Approach & Go Around due to Windshear

As it looks like another very warm/hot day today in Sydney here is another B747-400 question which ls ane Air Conditioning & Pressurisation question.

Aerowinx persons & those with a keen interest should be able to get this one.

1. What does selecting the Equipment Cooling Selector STBY position do?

A.	Warms up the equipment cooling system prior to selecting to NORM flight.

B.	Manually reconfigures the equipment cooling system for flight if automatic reconfiguration fails.

C.	Opens the ground exhaust valve when ambient temp is greater than 45 degrees F (7 degrees C)

Think about "in flight implications". Answer in about 4 hours.

The answer to the question above is 
B.Positioning the Equipment Cooling selector to STBY closes the overboard exhaust valve to manually configure the airplane for flight.     or in summary

B.Manually reconfigures the equipment cooling system for flight if automatic reconfiguration fails.

I noticed today there is a MultiCrew Course being offered athttp://www.mccaustralia.com/course;my reading of it is that you need to have passed Human Factors at an ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence) Level plus hold an CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence).
